Watched a documentary about a lorry driver that was texting on his mobile and he crashed into a smaller car and completely crushed it and killed the female passenger, she died instantly.
This is policing and keeping the law of the land in line, they are doing their jobs to help save lives, anyone that thinks it is worthless is misguided and I think slightly perverse.
Saw PC Angus at an event in his personal motor. Interesting to see a ‘snooper’ type device fixed to his windscreen near the rear view. Wonder what that’s for?
I would have thought the flash of a warrant card was a cheaper option.Â
“Do as I say not as I do” springs to mind
A flash of the warrant card? Honestly mate, would have worked up til about 5 years ago, but now unless you know the officer who has stopped you, its the worst thing you can do! If you don’t flash it, you’ll get a fixed penalty. If you do, you’ll get a summons or if they really want the satisfaction will give dangerous driving a go! i suspect the snooper is for vans, they really do have no discretion at all. Was chatting to a van operator a few months ago and he was telling me how he fired off the devils zapper at an X5, recorded the speed as 61 in a 50, then noticed it was his sister in law! To make matters worse, she’s got a private plate!Â
What car has Angus got mate, I’d be interested to know 🙂

Pretty sure it was a RS6. All singing, all dancing etc.
Maybe it makes up for certain inadequacies……….
Who am I to judge? I am a mere tax paying citizen 😉
Firstly I bought a motorbike off Angus, really decent bloke. I liked him immediately. Secondly, where is the jobsworth attitude? If people don’t break the law they don’t get done. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to work that out.
I am getting one of those huge Costa coffee advertising cups that you see outside garages, couple of holes in the side then film all the coppers sitting in the local BP for hours on end drinking coffee see how they like it.
This Nairn guy is more into arrests for his own gratification than road safety, that being said, whole families being taken out because some idiot was on a laptop, not good.
agree with Kenno 🙂 well said.
Plod, Bacon, jobswoth wankers, same the world over.
Pigfarts Christmas money maker this people need to remember the world would come to a halt without trucks delivering worldwide

Fair comment Jaker . 😊
Can someone point out the ‘jobworthiness’ in this video. I personally can’t see it.
HaHaHa just remembering the time when he(Angus)sat in piss, anyone got a link to the video of it?
I’d love to see that again… Very Very funny. Bet that guy got the book thrown at him..
Hahahaha one of the best the Scottish prick sat in the piss ,and he had to deal with the polish piss head afterwards
Met him and he was lovely. A good copper who does his job very well and for all the right reasons.
Trucks should be limited to the inside lane of the motorway and anyone using their phone get a six month ban for first offence, lifetime for second.
